The 27th Peoples Choice award was held on January 30,2009 at the Gateway Oriental Mandarin suites. During the ceremonies Bella took the stage and in a rare appearance entertained the audience with song and dance. Afterwards she was awarded the People's Choice Seal of Excellence as a Hall of Famer. The Peoples choice awards are selected based on customer interviews, polls and on-line voting among other means. The Philippine Juicy Fruits , a group developed and managed by Bella was also an awardee at the ceremonies.
